Build Neighborhood Trust
Purpose:
To get to know our neighbors.
Engage neighbors to protect democracy.
Build cohesion to help us face upcoming challenges together.
Guidelines for Neighborhood Meetings:
Get to know each other better. Start with a check-in. Allow 2-3 minutes/person, name, your main concern right now, and what gives you hope. Let each person be hear.
Additional possible questions:
What are you already doing, as an individual or with a group?
What are some actions we might consider doing as a group? (See webpage ENGAGE)
What might we want to research?
Next Steps to Consider
How often & when to meet?
Are some Zoom meetings an option?
Do you want to have food?
The goal is to spend as much time as you can at the intersection of these 3 circles. See TED talk by climate scientist Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson
