Picnic, Justice, Study
Come Picnic & Network, Sunday, August 2nd, 4-8 pm
Nearly a dozen progressive groups will gather for an activist potluck picnic at Woodland Park Shelter #6, hosted by Communities Rising. Socializing/games at 4:00, dinner at 5:00, then a program and more opportunities to share what each of us is doing. Mass Call: Justice for Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, Indivisible.org
On this mass call, Wednesday, July 15th at 5 PM Pacific, we will hear from Lorenzo’s loved ones, get updates about the case, and learn how to take action to demand justice for Lorenzo and his family.

What we need going forward is for voters to elect candidates who are committed to reversing the downward spiral of oligarchy. Realistically, this means electing Democrats who are committed to raising taxes on the wealthy. Beyond that, it means rejecting Democrats … who accept tainted corporate campaign funds and sweetheart perks bestowed on themselves and family members. Furthermore, once in power, Democrats must pass laws that stop lawmakers and their family members from engaging in corrupt enrichment.
