Round 1:
We will go around the circle and each person will have 3 minutes to say "If I were Boss of the World I would ..." Of course you could say you would institute world peace, but I'd like to suggest for the first round that we choose something concrete and specific. For example, I might say, "If I were Boss of the World I would decree that every child in America had the same amount of money spent on their education." I would then go on to explore how decoupling educational opportunity from property values would have the long-term effect of reducing income inequality and dismantling the real estate model of good and bad neighborhoods. It's just one thing, but you don't have to solve everything yourself or in one turn. Choose something that is important to you, choose that thing that keeps making you think, well, if it was up to me...
Round 2:
In the second round, I suggest you really let your imagination rip. Rule by a council of Black grandmothers. Outlaw Congressional lobbying. Link housing costs to actual income. Establish a set ratio between the lowest-paid and highest-paid employees of a corporation.
